Cyanobacteria Growth Graphs

To show the data collected by the Contributions sub-team of our group, we made two data apps with RStudio's shiny package (Judging Release and Github). The first one shows you the graphs of the growth of Synechococcus CB0101 under different iron concentrations. You can view the graphs with Secchi Depth measurements or OD measurements.

Secchi Depth Converter

The second data app is based on the Secchi stick data that we collected. It can take in Secchi stick measurements for both cyanobacteria and yeast and spit out OD and Cell Count equivalents (and vice versa). This tool allows anyone anywhere to use a Secchi stick instead of a spectrophotometer (or a hemocytometer) and still be able to express their findings in terms of generally accepted units.
