Metrics and Requirement
For those that are more familiar with EDS ^ :)
- Lysis efficiency
- How is it measured?
- How does quantification work if we have low lysis efficiency?
- Sample amount
- When swabbed: just some free floating buffers
- After adding buffer solutions: 1 microliter at most
- Buffer might not be required
- Volume at every stage of the way (for each combination of method)
- Might be better to have a pathway of each component combination to imagine how they'd all work together
- Climatic condition of where the tests are conducted: look in to maps for this
- Moisture
- Temperature
- How many tests are conducted right now?
- This might vary after our product since output would be high at a lower cost
- Currently: 20 - 1500 in one trip
- Current costs
- We have values for in-lab activity
- Might need to factor in manpower costs
- Accuracy
- What are the metrics?
- Positive control rates
- How accurate are the current methods?
- What is required?
- What type of decisions do they want to make?
- What are the metrics?
- Disposal
- What is the metric of quantitativeness?
- How does one factor in lysis buffer?
- How much time is acceptable for the user?
