Proclamation

To officialize the Second Edition of the SYNTHETIC BIOLOGY WEEK, the team met with the chancellor of the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus, Agustín Rullán Toro, and with our mentoring professors, Dr. Carlos Ríos Velázquez and Dr. Patricia Ortiz Bermúdez. During the meeting, the chancellor made the official reading of the proclamation where in the end he signed it as a symbol of the beginning of this week. The proclamation made mention of the different activities previously carried out that characterize us as a team. At the same time, the activities to be carried out during that week and their importance not only in synthetic biology, but also in the development of our team and future scientists were mentioned.

The proclamation took place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, via the platform ZOOM. Members of our team met and were welcomed by the chancellor of the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus. He read the proclamation and signed it at the end.
