Team Collaborations
We had a meeting with Ghana at 11am GMT/12pm BST. We explained our projects to each other in more detail and asked whether they could help us with the design of our 3D printer since they are mainly a team of engineers and we have no engineers on our team! We offered to do some wet lab work for them since they have no access to a laboratory however they explained that their project is mainly modelling-based and asked if we could help them with modelling.
After the meeting, we set up a WhatsApp group to make communication easier and sent a diagram of our biological process (i.e. how our bacteria would convert CO2 into CaCO3).
The UNSW iGEM team had mentioned that it would be best to contact them after their exams ended, on the 24th of August, so we sent them an email to arrange a meeting.
