At 9am Chloe gave the parts team a presentation on the components of a plasmid vector & cloning strategies using GoldenGate and MoClo. The whole team had a meeting from 11am-4pm and the parts group debriefed the rest of the team on the contents of the presentation.
Hydrogels and Modelling
Pazzy began writing a paper on the mechanical properties of hydrogels, documenting everything that could potentially become useful at a later date.
Velizar had another meeting with Prof. Gilbert to discuss how he could extend the CO2 diffusion model into two dimensions. He successfully managed to do this in the next couple of days.
