Notebook (Exeter iGEM 2020)

Wednesday, 29 July

Our team is halfway split between bioscientists and physicists/mathematicians and most members of our team felt there was a knowledge gap between the disciplines that made communication difficult. So today Anna ran through a presentation for the members of our team not doing biosciences, which went over the fundamentals of genetics and genetic engineering. Afterwards there was the opportunity for anyone on our team to ask questions about points of confusion so someone else on the team could answer. This helped to get us all on the same page and made communicating about all aspects of our project easier.

Hydrogels and Modelling

Pazzy successfully coded the model he started working on yesterday and uploaded it to the paper on hydrogel mechanics.
