At 8:30am we had a meeting and made the final decision to go with our bio-concrete idea, because the oil desulphurisation technology we had proposed was already in use.

However, because we were unable to find any EU guidelines on GMO use in construction, we diversified our project to focus more generally on converting CO2 into CaCO3 (calcium carbonate). Calcium carbonate has a wide variety of uses in agriculture, pharmaceuticals and construction, so our project could potentially reduce the carbon footprint of any of these industries.

We also incorporated Velizar's 3D bioprinter idea and decided to design a printer for CaCO3.
