Lab Work
Ariane and Izzy went in to the lab in the morning to try another CO2 diffusion through hydrogel experiment with PEG hydrogel instead of agarose. However the experiment did not work because the hydrogel would not set even with increased quantities of PEG.
Team Collaborations
We had a meeting with Ghana at 4pm to discuss the type of biological model they wanted us to build as part of the collaboration. They also requested that we send them an initial design/design brief for our printer so they could elaborate on it. Anna sent this design to Jean and Ronny on the Ghana team. After the meeting, Velizar also sent them some example equations of the type which he needed to build the model.
UNSW sent us a Zoom link for the Coral Symposium plus some final technical details.
