Introduction
SYSU-CHINA (Sun Yat-Sen University iGEM Experimental Team) was founded by the School of Life Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University. Thanks to the support of the college and the talents of the students, SYSU-CHINA has worked hard and achieved a lot since its first competition in 2009. The team of SYSU-CHINA in 2020 is made up of students from the school of Life Sciences, the School of Computer Science and the School of Communication and Design. We are still a great family and now let's see how the team members introduce themselves.

  • Rui Zhang

    PI of our team, The "Hundred Talents Plan" of Sun Yat-sen University introduced talents, doctor of Science, professor, doctoral supervisor.

    Majors in: high-throughput sequencing, bioinformatics and molecular and cell biology.

  • Jionglin Chen

    Last year's all-around captain, this year's lazy advisor.
