On the 8th of June, we had a ChitChat session
We were formulating our idea to gather samples from many people across Europe, potentially the world. For this we needed volunteers, our first thought was to ask other iGEMers.
We also wanted to get in contact with other teams to get to know their experience about iGEM around the world, during this pandemic.
iGEM Vienna 2020
On the 8th of June, we joined the Zoom-Talk “Let’s talk about our Microbiome!” hosted by iGEM team Paris Bettencourt. We gained fascinating insights into the microbiome on our skins and how it is influenced by our environment. We had a great time chatting and gained a whole new view onto our skin! "

Social Events
Because social events are also what make a good meetup, Paris-Bettencourt organized a cooking session on French specialty: Chouquettes!
Un évènement extraordinaire de partage et d'échange, tant sur le plan du savoir, de nos projets, épreuve de concision de présentation de projet stimulante , humainement.
Logisitque : l'organisation d'un tel évènement a requis une préparation minutieuse. Meeting virtuel oblige, il a fallu se concerter avec la direction d'iGEM ; créer des formulaires pour les votes ; préparer les sessions cuisine ; partager l'ensmble des liens, faire des sous-groupes ; et puis administrer les salles en fonction des intervenants. Remercions Nemanja Stijepovic and Maarten Lubbers, avec lequel nous avons eu une interaction constante et qui nous a suivi tout au long de l'évènement Merci Maarten Lubbers!
