Lab Work
We repeated the experiment from yesterday (see previous entry) and it was unsuccessful again, suggesting there was either an issue with the promoters or with our kitchen lab environment!
Science Communication and Outreach
We posted an infographic about the circular bioeconomy, a concept introduced to us by Prof. Sarah Hartley. The circular bioeconomy describes a system in which waste in the biosciences is reduced, products & materials are reused or recycled at the end of life and the environment is respected.
