Members of our team working on synthetic biology/plasmid parts had a meeting from 11:30 until 4. Members of our team working on the printer/modelling/hardware did the same.
Science Communication and Outreach
We announced our logo and team name to the world on social media! At this point we decided to change the design of our infographics to match our logo. Previously, our Instagram looked like this:
Hydrogels and Modelling
Pazzy, Ariane, Eloise, Izzy, Pazzy and Velizar began investigating how we could use magnetic beads macroscopically dispersed in hydrogel in order to potentially form the shape.
Velizar had a Zoom meeting with Professor Andrew Gilbert, who lectures in Mathematical Physics at our university and specialises in fluid mechanics. In the meeting they discussed how to improve the versatility of the CO2 diffusion model.
