Mark let us know he had successfully purified/extracted the carbonic anhydrase proteins from our IPTG-induced bacteria using a drip column. Adam and Anna arranged to come into the lab on Thursday to test the protein samples in calcium chloride and see whether calcium carbonate would successfully precipitate!
