Lab Work

Anna made some tryptose blood agar plates to grow our transformed B. sub on, using the antibiotic chloramphenicol.

Mark cultured some B. sub overnight in tryptose blood agar that did not contain any antibiotic.

Team Collaborations

UCL asked for information about the carbon source our B. subtilis would use, the oxygen availability in our system, and whether the reaction we wanted to express was native or exogenous.
