General support

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our team advisor and PI, Dr. Wei Wei. His endless enthusiasm and meaningful guidance towards our research could not be more greatly appreciated. And we also appreciate our instructor, Dr.Xin Wang. His patient guidance towards our experiment helps us overcome lots of difficulties.

Modeling support

We'd like to express our gratitude to our teammates Ziyang Xu, Chaorui Ma, Jiaqi Hu. As members of modeling group, they use spare time to learn many modeling software such as Swiss Model、Robetta、Autodock4、Psipred、Gromacs, and conducted structural modeling, polyphosphate and target protein docking simulation, target protein secondary structure prediction and molecular dynamics simulation. The results of model simulation is essential for the experiment and the entire project.

We especially thanks Prof. Jiahuang Li for her both useful and insightful suggestions on our modeling process.

Experiment support

We are sincerely thankful to instructor Xin Wang, postgraduate Xinru Pan、Longqian Zhu for their comprehensive guidence in experiment skills.

We are also very grateful to our team members Yaxin Chen, Shaoli Zhao, Guangyu Hu, Chaorui Ma, Yuxuan Xia, Pengpeng Zhang and Yuanyuan Ding. During the epidemic, they returned to school and started experiments in advance, so as not to slow down the progress of the game. They have continuously adjusted the experimental plan for several months and carried out experiments with almost no vacation. Without their unremitting attempts we would not have successfully completed our project.

Thanks to the persons in charge of Jiangsu Leqi Textile Company and Gesanghua Paint Company, who took time out of their busy schedule to accept our interview, introduced us to the development status and market demand of fireproof materials, and provided guidance and feedbacks on our experimental results.

Thanks to Professor Yi Cao from the School of Physics of Nanjing University, Professor Peng Zheng from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Professor Hanyang Yu from the School of Modern Engineering and Applied Science, and Professor Ye Tian for their technical guidance on our experiment. They provided new ideas during the period of stagnation in our experiment and helped the experiment team and the facilitate the smooth progress of our project.

Thanks to our team members Hanze Liu, Yifei Bian, Shijie Li, Mingchang Wang and Zhongqi Xu. They used online resources to contact the competition teams of major colleges and universities, completed many high-quality online publicity activities, and contributed to the popularization of synthetic biology. They also actively contacted school professors and social enterprises, and widely listened to suggestions from various aspects. The opinions and suggestions highly promote the implementation of project results.

Design support

Thanks to our team member Xiaohan Qian. She has a strong artistic background and creative enthusiasm. She completed the team logo design alone, produced opening weekend posters, promotion videos, and provided original pictures, design and beautification work for the production of web pages.

Thanks to our team members Mingchang Wang, Jiankun Ren and Zhengni Wang. They self-learned the knowledge of HTML webpage production and official account operation, helped our team members add experiment results to registry page and designed a wiki with both artistic sense and professionalism, successfully and perfectly promoted and displayed our project.

Thanks to our team leader Zhen Jiang, who paid attention to the progress of each team during the whole process of the project, undertook the liaison work between the team and the college, school and the organizer of the event. He regularly organized team meetings and conducted discussions, arranged various affairs reasonably, and solved the problem together with us.

Thanks to Yixuan Zhang and Ziyang Xu, members of the presentation group. They have excellent oral English and translation skills. They have completed the recording of presentation video and the translation of various materials. They are irreplaceable in the process of promoting the project to an international platform.
