By 9 PM on August 22, 318 copies of the second draft questionnaire were received. Anonymous questionnaires were submitted in the form of online questionnaire. Most of the data were collected in Jinan, Shandong and Shenzhen, Guangdong.
1. Have you ever had any allergies?
A：According to data, people who have ever had allergic symptoms account for the vast majority, about 70%, indicating that allergy is very common in the general public, that is, it is necessary for us to develop related drugs to treat allergies.
2. What are your allergy symptoms?
A：According to the analysis of the data, the itching and rashes caused by the onset of allergies are mild in most people, while the very severe symptoms of tears, coughing, difficulty breathing or hospitalizations in a small number of people are severe. That is, allergies in most allergy groups may affect quality of life, but are not life threatening.
3. What is the source of your allergy?
A：According to the data, about 35% of allergic people are dust, namely allergic rhinitis. About 22% of people have large bumps caused by mosquito bites, which are typical symptoms of histamine intolerance. The main function of the ointment we developed will also be to degrade histamine. About 32 percent of people don't know what's causing their allergies, so for some it's difficult to find out.
4. What do you do when you have an allergic attack?
A：When allergic symptoms occur, more than 50 percent of allergic people choose to take medication, and about 34 percent choose to seek medical treatment. About 30% of people wear masks and stay at home. Passive measures taken due to the lack of effective treatment options greatly affect normal life. Therefore, most people will take medical measures to treat allergic symptoms, and our ointment is also from the perspective of biomedicine to solve allergy problems.
5. If you take medicine, which kind of medicine do you usually take?
A：About 46% of patients with allergies will use antihistamines, and the cream we developed is also a drug for the treatment of histamines, so it is suitable for the majority of patients with allergies. About 44% of allergy patients choose to use external medication such as dermatitis drugs, and our therapeutic ointments are similar external medication. Very few patients with severe allergies will use hormone drugs, with large side effects.
6. When you finished the medicine, how did you find the effect
A：Most of the drug users, are effective, but easy to relapse, and take effect for a long time, very few drug users did not get effective treatment, it can be seen that allergy patients need timeliness and continuity of drugs. However, our product has a relatively quick effect. It degrades immediately after detection of histamine and can be applied in daily life.
7. How much does it cost to treat your allergies per year?
A：Most patients with allergies (about 72% of the population) spend little or no money on allergy treatment every year, so it means that the cost of allergy treatment is relatively low. Therefore, we should take into account the public demand and market price when pricing our products, so it should not be too high.
8. We are developing a test paper for histamine, a substance that directly causes allergic symptoms and is widely found in stale seafood and meat. Do you have testing requirements for the surrounding environment or food?
A：When asked about the level of demand for our dipstick products, about 31 percent would like to test for the freshness of meat and seafood, and 25 percent would like to test for histamine. In the case that allergic people account for about 70% of the total number of people, the market capacity is relatively large, that is, the demand is large, so it can be considered to promote in hospitals or relevant places of fresh food market. About 37% of the people have no demand for the test paper. Compared with 30% of the non-allergic people in the first question, the number of people who do not need the test paper is higher than that of the non-allergic people. In other words, some allergic people have no demand for the test paper.
9. We are developing a histamine-degrading ointment that may have long-term benefits in the future and release the right histamine-degrading drug depending on your physical condition. Do you need this ointment?
A：When asked about the need for the ointment, about 41% of people would consider the curative effect first, followed by the price, which shows that the allergic symptoms have a great impact on the normal life of allergic people, and they are eager to find a solution to the allergic symptoms. About 30 percent chose no need, in line with the proportion of non-allergic people in the first question. Allergic people almost all need ointment products, visible ointment demand is large. Compared with the eighth question, the therapeutic effect of the product is more needed than the detection effect. The treatment of allergies and the relief of symptoms are the core concerns of allergic people.
