This year we collaborate with ZJU-China team. We are very grateful to ZJU-China team for their support and help in project design, theoretical basis, experimental operation and human practise.
Collaboration with ZJU-China
May.15th
First online meeting, Liang Qiyu from ZJU-China wet lab, taught us how to conduct literature research and data retrieval. Liu Yudong from these ZJU-China dry lab held an online modeling meeting. At the same time , it is the first time for many members of our team to participate in iGEM so they are not familiar with the whole operation process of iGEM. ZJU-iGEM team helped us to answer the criteria of each competition and each award. They helped us draw up a monthly team plan.
June.1st
Qiyu Liang from ZJU-China wet lab guided us to read and refer to the book, conduction to Synthetic Biology. They reminded members of our biology group to read the literature on synthetic biology in advance and asked us to search for literature on CO2. We took their advice and divided the biological components into two groups so that the materials could be collected more quickly.
June.25th
Second online meeting for exchanging experiences of topic selection. All the team members of both sides attended the meeting and gave brief self introduction. We gave some advice to each other about current work in literature research and they helped us to narrow down our selection.
July.31st
Third online meeting to further discuss topics selection.
Aug.1st
We went through a lot of great wiki, in previous years and learned a lot from it.
Sep.1st
They help us to complete the safety form. When they reviewed our safety form, they found that some important laboratory codes were missing. They immediately reminded us to add it.
We are very grateful to them for their timely and detailed guidance.
Sep.2nd-30th
Purification and extraction of the enzyme protein and determination the Enzyme activity. Chen Jiayi from ZJU-China was mainly responsible for the experiment.

Follow up the the promotional video.

They helped us prepare the material for wiki.
