Making a great impact on others, requires the cooperation of others… My name is Doron, a third-year Tourism Management student and I live in central Israel. I believe that good human practices and community involvement can lead to meaningful results for all human beings. I feel a great privilege and honor to be a part of iGEM 2020 and I hope that our project could significantly impact others.

Ever since my 9th grade, I have known Biology and I were destined for each other. I love coming up with crazy ideas related to Biology, which sometimes seem impossible to implement. In my spare time, I like running and spending time with my cat and dog, who both hate me almost equally.

I've always believed that our intelligence can do more than just damage our planet and nature. So, I chose to study the nature and science. It was very important to me that our project will focus on using a process that already occurring naturally and improve it to solve the problem we were aiming for. iGEM is a great platform to share our knowledge and project with other teams around the globe and hopefully, through cooperation such as this one, we'll lead the way to a better future.

Reut

Reut Yacobi

B.Sc. in Biotechnology Engineering. I am always looking for exciting new challenges in the fields of biology, biochemistry, and genetic engineering. IGEM seems to be a great opportunity to learn and develop. One of the great benefits of this project is that we get to use our knowledge and lab experience to help the environment.

Judith

Judith Nissel Elkaim

Passionate student in biology, with very high motivation for the profession. Has high creativity, curiosity and diligence. I am looking to realize my abilities in the field of synthetic biology and the iGEM competition is a great opportunity for that.

Gal

Hey! I'm a third-year Psychobiology student from Beer-Sheva, Israel. Since I was young, I was interested in biology, particularly in Synthetic biology. I joined the iGEM team to find a solution for a real-world problem using synthetic biology tools. I believe that through the IGEM competition, great applications can come up and help improve our planet.
