Safety
This year's BIT team's project is about the COVID-19 detection. Because of this, team BIT strictly abides by the safety regulations and has made necessary contact with the Safety and Security Committee. This year, due to the impact of the COVID-19, the progress of the BIT team's biological experiments was greatly affected, so only basic experimental materials were used for pre-test. These pre-test do not involve any safety issues related to COVID-19. The BIT team also did not use any fragments of the SARs-CoV-2 virus.
Our Lab:
The Safety Level of our lab is Level 1 (low risk) All our team members received safety training from teacher Zhang Yaxi, who take in charge of lab safety and security. We only do experiments in open bench and biosafety cabinet.
