Jiekai Chen, principle investigator of Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, pointed out the advantages and disadvantages about lineage tracing technology based on CRISPR/Cas9.

Junjiu Huang, professor of Sun Yat-sen University, told us the biggest problem of this technology is the limited barcodes.

Jie Na，associate professor of Center for Stem Cell Biology, reminded us of the safety and ethical issues that may be involved in the technology.

Zhen Xie, professor of Department of Automation, and chunlai Chen, professor of Tsinghua University, gave us some suggestions on experiments.

Guangdun Peng, Professor of Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, told us that it is necessary to read the lineage tracing information at RNA level.
