Team Merger

  • Georgia State University partnered with students from SouthWest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, China to work on this project. We had to meet over zoom with a 12 hour time difference. Despite the language and time zone barriers, we were able to work in concert with each other and collaborate throughout the project. Some students at GSU constructed plasmids before sending them off to SWJTU. In turn, students at SWJTU built our gene gun, which is arguably the most important part of the project! We’ve had fun with each other and will continue to do so for the remainder of the year.
