As we explained on our Description page, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to access the laboratory. However, we planned our experiments and performed in silico cloning on the parts for our initial approach. More details about our experimental plan can be found on the Engineering page.
We added four basic parts to the registry: a gene coding for the neuropeptide-like protein of our initial approach, two genes that are part of our safety mechanism plan in RootPatch and the pta promoter that we plan to use to constitutively express the neuropeptide-like protein. The names of the parts are presented in the table below.
