Description

After successfully detecting Pb2+ with 8-17 DNAzyme (HTDC system), we proved the system's ability to achieve quantitative detection of Pb2+ in waterbodies

We first conducted HTDC testings with different concentrations of Pb2+, the result is shown below:

Fig. HTDC Pb2+ testing

We made a scatter plot based on the data from HTDC Pb2+ testing, the graph is shown below:

Fig Scatter plot of HTDC Pb2+ testing

We made a standard curve based on the data from HTDC Pb2+ testing, the graph is shown below:

Fig. standard curve of HTDC Pb2+ testing

For 1 to 100 μM Pb2+, their concentration is linear with their fluorescence. (y = 5.2975 x + 2.3292)

With the standard curve, we are able to determine Pb2+ concentration in unknown waterbodies by adding water sample to HTDC system and measuring its fluorescence.
