Meeting With Beijing iGem Groups
Because of the Covid-19 and Beijing's special status as the capital, the iGEM teams in Beijing became the latest teams to return to the laboratory. So,invited by Team:CAU-China, we joined the iGEM Beijing Regional Meeting which was held online in August,2020.
We gave a breif introduction about our project and promoted our ideas. We also exchange ideas with other teams on this year's pandemic and its impact on this year's iGem competiton and how should we enhance collaborations under such situation.
The meeting helps the teams get to know about each other and we would like to thank Team:CAU-China for hosting it!
Collaboration with Team:Tsinghua
Tsinghua University has two teams each year: Team-Tsinghua, whose team members mainly come from School of Life Science and Team-Tsinghua-A, whose team members mainly come from Dept. of Automation.
This year, our team and Team-Tsinghua still collaborate with each other. We talked about our idea and introduced our project to each other. We also discussed the impact of pandemic this year to us iGem teams and working experience. Finally we discussed about plans on how to promote further collaborations for future Tsinghua University teams.
