CSB

The Center for Synthetic Biology (CSB) is a collaboration between three research groups of the faculty of Bioscience Engineering (Ghent University), joining forces in the diverse field of synthetic biology. Their common goal is to develop new processes for the production of value-added compounds, with emphasis on tailor-made carbohydrates, flavonoids and glycolipids.

We wish to thank them for their high-quality support and for the usage of their lab for our project.

Kermit

The research unit KERMIT (Knowledge-based Systems) adopts a holistic view on mathematical and computational modelling, acknowledging the needs of our modern information society with a particular focus on the applied biological sciences. It strives to keep a unique balance between theoretical developments and practical applications, a strategy that has proven particularly successful, regarding the output, visibility and recognition of the team. It plays a pioneering role by promoting existing as well as developing new methods in a broad range of disciplines shown below.

We thank them for their help for our modelling.

Biobix

The BIOBIX lab of Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics focuses on the analysis of high-throughput “omics” data, particularly generated by second and third generation sequencing or mass spectrometry. They develop innovative data-analytical methodologies to solve complex biological questions as for instance, related to allele-specific expression. Besides that, they also do research in applied (epi)genomics, transcriptomics, translatomics and proteomics research for cancer and aging studies.

We thank them for their help in coding and support in our business development.

Trello

Trello is the easy, free, flexible and visual way to manage your projects and organize anything. Trusted by millions of people from all over the world, including us! We thank them for codes to upgrade our membership to gold.
