These are the projects that each member in our IGEM team have participated in.
Applying synthetic biology, our team addressed several skin concerns by devising a gentle skincare product. Compared to the traditional way: either chemical peeling or physical rub, we applied enzyme keratinase to safely exfoliate the skin. We have completed the full process of brainstorming, project planning, testing, generating publicity, and implementing human practices.

Our project instructor is Dr. Wang Hongtao, an experienced genetic engineering scientist, who will provide guidance on our project design, implementation plan, and method optimization. lab support partner is Shenzhen Blot Biological Products Co., Ltd. The company has rich experience in protein synthesis and a complete protein expression and production platform and essential base. At the same time, they have a very experienced technology research and development team that can provide our research Project technical guidance and assistance. At the same time, the laboratory also provided us with the necessary test materials and equipment to complete our projects. This fully guarantees the smooth progress of our research.
