In our project, we designed and constructed recombinant plasmids to produce target protein Keratinase. Recombinant Keratinase is the key and important part in our project. The entire work includes the found, optimization, and synthesis of Keratinase coding genes, as well as the selection of expression plasmids, the construction of recombinant plasmids, and the expression and purification of Keratinase proteins in host cells E. coli. Finally, protein purification and function/safety evaluation are performed. Then use above artificial recombinant Keratinase to make biological exfoliating mask gel. Within these works, the construction of recombinant protein expression vectors by genetic engineering is our key work. Here, we designed and used high-performance molecular biology functional elements. We believe we could contribute to the development of the iGEM community by sharing these biological parts. We hope that our validated and efficient recombinant protein expression elements (parts) can help the iGEM community more in the present and future. These parts are listed as follows:
