In our previous human practices activities, we collected some questions raised by experts and the public. We held a lecture to introduced our project, and responded to the questions collected earlier.
Community Speaking Campaign
We held a speech and public activity about honeysuckle and our iGEM project at the a community in Tianhe District, Guangzhou at around 8 p.m. on August 9, 2020.The activity includes three parts: PPT presentation, lucky draw and making handmade fans.

PPT Presentation
Our PPT is divided into three parts, including epidemic prevention and control of traditional Chinese medicine, introduction of honeysuckle and publicity of our project. Three team members will give lectures in each part.
In the part of epidemic prevention and control of traditional Chinese medicine, PPT summarized the recent epidemic situation and the main role of traditional Chinese medicine during the epidemic. It first attracted the attention of the public through our explanationa of the recent hot topics, so as to introduce the focus of the speech to honeysuckle, an important traditional Chinese medicine.
In the second part, we introduced the legend, history, pharmacological action and main components of honeysuckle, allowing people to have a deeper understanding of the history of Chinese traditional medicine, and popularized the knowledge of honeysuckle in all aspects.
The last part is the introduction of our project. We indicated the purpose of this project, and then introduced our experimental process by means of animation. This easy-to-understand way enabled the public to intuitively understand our experiment, and also made our explanation more concise.The following is the introduction of synthetic biology and genetically modified food. The speech used the process of food passing through the human body and two examples of Belgian blue cattle, proving that genetically modified food actually has no harm to the human body, and the research of synthetic biology needs to be paid attention to.
At the end of the speech, we expounded our lofty ideal, hoping to combine traditional Chinese medicine with synthetic biology, step onto the world stage, carry forward the traditional Chinese culture, and make our civilization treasure of 5,000 years shine.

Lucky Draw
We specially set up lucky draw to adjust the atmosphere of the activity site, to stimulate everyone's enthusiasm and to attract more people's attention so as to better carry out our project introduction speech.The whole process was led by the team leader, and the audience was randomly asked to draw the paper ball from the carton prepared in advance. The audience who drew the paper ball with winning words could get a bottle of honeysuckle drink. In this way, the importance of honeysuckle and other traditional Chinese medicine in people's daily life can be better promoted.

DIY Creative Fans
In the speech promotion activities, we also carry out DIY creative handmade fans activities. This project aims to attract crowds to watch the speech and promote our team and iGEM activities. Because we prepared stickers with the logo of iGEM and our team and pasted them on the fan. This activity enables more younger audiences to participate in it.
At the same time, the content mentioned in the lecture can be used when drawing creative fans, so as to better promote and popularize science, with strong innovative and interactive significance.

Conclusion
The participants in this activity range in age from children aged 3 or 4 to old people aged 7 or 80. During the production process, many parents will lead their children to participate and discuss with our team members about our project. We collected the suggestions and questions from people which it is helpful for our team to improve the project and promote the construction of our project. The enthusiastic participation of people represents the success of this activity.
