Because we used fragments of the wild bacteria from nature, which is environmental-friendly. And after testing, the wild bacteria itself does not contain any pathogenic fragments that are harmful to animals and humans. We did not transfer any pathogenic fragments during the experiment. Lycopene production inactivates Ralstonia, so we do not add "induced lethality" or "kill-switch" device. The reagents used in the experiment, like kanamycin were all professionally disposed after using in the experiment, so we can ensure the safety and prevent the poison as much as we can to protect the environment from the new contamination and creatures’ health. Meanwhile, one noticeable thing is that we did our experiment in the Zhejiang university’s molecular biology laboratory, and we were guided by the professional people who study or work in this apartment in the university, so they can standardize our operation, make our project more accurate, effective, and can decrease the risk of damaging the environment.
