Design

The parts were expressed with a T7-RNA-polymerase promoter (BBa_I719005), as well as a 5'-UTR (BBa_K1758100) region which has been shown to further increase expression in Escherichia coli (E. coli) (BBa_K1758106). BBa_B0015 was used as a double terminator.

Table 1. All parts we used during our project can be found. Parts were constructed using Benchling by the team and synthesized by IDT as well as cloned into pIDTSmart-Kan by IDT.
