TEAM

Mingxuan Chi:Team leader.

Besides being in charge of everything, he was the designer of ssDNA reporter and RPA efficiency test. He produced high-quality crRNA by in vitro synthesis.

Yijing Cai: Wet lab member.

She is good at protein extraction and purification. She mainly dealt with Cas12a and the characterization of Cas12a.

Zehua Yin: Wet lab member.

He mainly carried the improvement of Cas12a, including introducing point mutations and designing experiment to test the effect. He also participated in making videos.

Mengning Luo: Wet lab member.

She mainly carried the improvement of Cas12a, including introducing point mutations and designing experiment to test the effect. She also helped find experts in Human Practices.

Zhiyu Fang: Bioinformatics specialist.

As the only member majoring in bioinformatics, he used various software tools to calculate the protospacers for Cas12a to recognize. He also participated in modelling and RPA testing.

Qinyi Chu: Wet lab member.

She participated in constructing plasmids. She was also responsible for our collaboration with NJU-China.

Ruijie Xiang: Wet lab member.

He constructed most of the plasmids and he was the designer of our aptamer-sensing module. He also participated in Cas12a characterization by western-blotting.

Yujie Wen: Chief video editor.

He did a great job in making our promotion video and presentation video as a very amateur editor. As the Giant Jamboree was unexpectedly changed to online form, he stood up and bravely took the responsibilities of making videos. He also participated in RPA testing and education.

Sizhe Gu: Wiki constructor.

Majoring in computer science, he is better in deal with codes than any others in the team. With the career plan of studying deep learning, he also participated in constructing our neuronal network model.

Ruiyan Xia: Human practices specialist.

She leaded all of our Human practices activities. and she also participated in constructing our wiki pages.

Wenxin Li: Wet lab member.

She participated in the improvement of Cas12a and she also played important roles in our Human Practices activities.

Zefang Zhao: Wet lab member.

She participated in constructing plasmids and protein purification.

Zeyang Zhang: Fund manager.

He was in charge of our team fund. He also participated in the improvement of Cas12a.

Rui Su: Modelling member.

He constructed our ring-dropping model and gave a very accurate prediction of the volume of liquid we should use in our final product.

Haochen Lv: Art designer.

He made our poster and all the art elements in our project. He also participated in the purification of RNA.

Yuxin Song: Art designer.

She made our poster and all the art elements in our project.
