All of us gathered in Shanghai, had ice-breaking activities, designed our logo, did self-introduction, and selected team leader candidates. We were divided into two different laboratories to do experiment.

we learned safety precautions and got familiar with experimental equipment. Then did PCR to clone genes and made LB medium.

We did PCR again to clone genes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. We also did gel recycling to purify these productions.

We constructed plasmid successfully and sequenced in a company.

The sequencing result was compared and analyzed. And the plasmid was transformed into E. coli competent cell DH5αand BL21(DE3).
