My name is Hadas, I am a third year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. I was 10 years old when I told my mother I wanted to be the one who found out the humans are basically monkeys, so I guess I wanted to be geneticist or something in that area. I love sports and I'm doing lots of them. My friends will say I take too much on myself, but hey, if I still have time to workout who cares?
My name is Tomer, I am a third year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. Ever since I was a young boy, I always found myself to be driven by curiosity and the need to solve problems (especially the ones I created). I served as a paramedic in the IDF and I happily began my studies at the Technion just a few months after being discharged.
Curiosity and ADD are two of my most prominent traits and they go hand in hand in my case. My friends can testify that I tend to be all over the place while trying to be on top of everything. My hobbies are photography, aikido and ball games.
My name is Amir, a fourth-year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. My friends will describe me as a humoristic and funny guy, a hard worker, who will try his best to achieve his goal. I've always been interested in the biology, medicine, and science fields in general. I have studied biotechnology in high school and continued to a bachelor's degree at the Technion in the same field. In my past, I trained for nine years in Judo, soccer, and athletics, and sports is a big hobby of mine.
My name is Dor Josef and I'm a 4th year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. In my youth I studied classical guitar and later started playing bass guitar, flute and didgeridoo. As a kid I remember myself being fascinated by nature and often wonder about the question of life's origin and how does the body work thus started my thirst for knowledge of life through biology.
My name is Ella, I am a third year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. Ever since I was young, I was fascinated by nature and animals, and so it happened that I now have two cats, a dog, and a foster dog. In my free time I like to cook, crochet, and sew. Something not everyone knows about me is that I used to play the piano for 12 years. My friends would say that I am quiet and calm. My favorite place to travel is south of France, where I have family.
My name is Ilana Elizarov, I am a third year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student and I am head of the student council in the faculty. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking special desserts. When I was little my dream was to be a singer, since then I have grown up and today my dream is to be a person that makes a change in the world. Most of the time my friends would say about me that I am a busy woman, optimistic and happy.

My biggest hobby is eating and a lot… My favorite food is meat, mostly Asado. My friends will say that I am a very organized person, a bit rude and funny.
My name is Noa, I am a third year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. I have a twin sister that you would never believe we are related since we are so different. Growing up I never knew what I wanted to do until science and biology peaked my interest. My friends would say that I am a big nerd yet really friendly and funny. My favorite thing to watch is horror movies usually accompanied by a big bowl of popcorn.
My name is Shanny, I am a third year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. I have an identical twin sister and we live right next door to each other, just like FRIENDS. I was always interested in biology and medicine, so the choice of Biotechnology and Food Engineering faculty was natural to me. I really like to draw and paint, and often to cook. My friends will say about me that I will pet every dog I meet and that I drive all the time like I am in a driving lesson.
My name is Shany, I’m a B.sc student from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering. I have a non-identical twin sister which is different from me in any way possible. I chose this degree because I love food but I didn’t learn biology in high school. During my studies I fell in love with biology and next year I'm starting my master's in that field. In my free time I like doing sport and hiking.
My name is Shay, I am a fourth year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. Many people don't know that I have a second name (Lishay). When I was a kid, my dream was to be a scientist, so here I am living the dream. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends, to play the guitar, and learn new things. My friends say about me that I'm funny, intelligent, and handsome - well the last one I added.
My name is Yara, I am a fourth year Biotechnology and Food Engineering student. My friends call me “rotten food expert”. During exam period I always find myself cooking (even if I’m not hungry) to reduce stress. Combining Middle Eastern cuisine with Italian is my favorite thing to do. Hearing people saying, “Wow that dish is good” is the best feeling ever but I always hide my smile away so they get the feeling that I’m used to those words. My favorite place to visit is the top of Acre wall where the sea is right below.
My name is Zixuan Li, and I am from mainland China. I am a BSC student from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering. Personally, I am a super fan of dessert, movie, and Cantopop. To be honest, sleep is my favorite thing to do during my spare hours, what could possibly get you out of the tiredness better than this, right?
My name is Saar Shaviv, I am a third year student at the biomedicine-medicine program, but if I would have studied something else that would be Philosophy and linguistic. I worked for a year in India, that's why I'm a big Indian food fan. My favorite city is London and I dream of living there and have an ongoing supply of fish and chips. I enjoy listening to podcasts about history, philosophy and psychology - my favorite one is "hard core history by Dan Carlin'. Currently I'm a team leader at the sleep clinic in Assuta hospital.
