VR demo
In order to better understand the impact of changes in the spatial distance between genes in the feedforward loop network motif in this project on the regulation of motif gene expression, we created a VR scene display of the E. coli three-dimensional genome. In our VR project, the three-dimensional structure of the E. coli three-dimensional genome is virtually displayed, and the effect of changes in the position and gene spatial distance of each gene in the feedforward loop network motif on the regulation of motif gene expression is displayed. The advantage of virtual reality is that you will feel that the activities in these cells are happening right in front of your eyes, and will change your perspective with the movement of your head.
The video shows a three-dimensional genome model of Escherichia coli. We moved the degP gene to another location through gene editing to make it farther away from its regulatory gene cpxR. In this way, the protein expressed by cpxR, which is the blue ball in the video, moves to the position of the degP gene, and it takes longer for degP to express (red ball generation). By watching the video, you will feel that the microscopic genome of the bacteria is displayed in front of you. We hope that you can understand the impact of our work on the microstructure of the bacteria itself through this video.
People have a strong interest in the virtual reality projects we have developed, and they have shown their deep love.
