Engineered Bacteria

OUR TEAM

    QHFZ-China is a progressive team which assembled by the students who are interested in synthesis biology from Tsinghua University High School. In spite of the differences in ages and characters, we share the charm and joy of the iGEM competition, and together we seek for the ideal of contributing to our society and expressing the truth of science. Friendship, harmony, participation and dream, we believe that we'll overcome ourselves and enjoy the iGEM tournament.

OUR PROJECT

    In iGEM, there are many teams which designed the bacteria with various functions. To optimize the storage environment of these bacteria and help them elaborate its function in daily life, we use lyophilize to attain the room temperature storage, transfer the TDPs (Tardigrade disordered protein) give a better protectants and guarantee the survival rate of engineering bacteria. Hence, we provide a new storage method not only for the daily usage but also for future iGEM teams to store and apply their engineering bacteria.
