This year is my second year of iGEM. I really miss Boston! I miss lobsters and wines there. It was a bad time this year but a great lesson!

Jingi, YEO

Biomedical engineering Team leader Stay hungry, stay foolish

This year, COVID-19 has limited many activities that were free to do, including offline meetings. On this occasion, we were able to experience new activities and experiences that we have never done before. There have been several failures through trial and error, but I think these opportunities will help me develop myself. I hope the situation will get better next year and we will be able to do more active iGEM activities.

Kwangho Son

Biotechnology Lab team leader Failures should not end with just experience. To improve yourself, you have to find problems and fix them.

It was hard time for me to prepare iGEM this year for many reasons, such as COVID19 and busy graduate school life, but these tough situations taught me a lot. Unfortunately, 2020 is my last year for iGEM. So I did my best, our team did our best and we will be the best. Thank you iGEM!

Yongjoon Jin

Tumor biology Lab team member Be passionate, but be modest

There were many difficulties in preparing for the iGEM due to the COVID-19, but it is sure that I learned and felt a lot with my colleagues. I want to do my best until the end.

Biotechnology Lab team member Where there is a will, there is a way

First time for iGEM! I’m happy to get a chance to participate iGEM with these team members. I’m look forward to getting new ideas by participating iGEM.

Kyutae Kim

Cyber Defense Lab team member Where there is a will, there is a way

I’m glad to be back in the iGEM. It was impressive that I had a new experience to communicate about synthetic biology online through iGEM.

Jung Bin, MOON

Biotechnology Human practice team leader Be happy

2 years of igem has broadened my perspectives and expanded my knowldege on synthetic biology and its relation to healthcare. Based on the experiences I had on igem, I believe I will be able to grow as a versatile and well-rounded medical professional.

Jung Hyun Lee

Nursing Human practice team member Push the boundaries

When I first joined this team, I didn't know a lot about synthetic biology. But through the numerous activites we've done so far, I am starting to understand this field. I want to thank my team members for their contribution.

Sungwook Lee

Biotechnology Human practice team member clean air, clean water, clean earth

It's my honor to enjoy iGEM with suprerb participants. Preperation process of our project was valuable learning & researching opportunity all the time. As myself with fortified biological insight and colleagues made great effort, I strongly expect successful conclusion. Thank you!

Kyeongmin Kim

Business Human practice team member Nothing is impossible to a willing heart.

I learned a lot while preparing for a one-year project with people interested in synthetic biology. In particular, while doing 'human practice', I was able to learn how to communicate while acting as a link between synthetic biology and society. I think there will be good results as much as we prepared hard. Thank you all.

Kyungju Shin

Life science Human practice team member happiness is a way of travel not a destination

I could learn synthetic biology while preparing for my first Igem. It was unfamiliar and difficult, but I was able to do it with the help of my team members. Thank you for all your help.

Yoojin Choi
