Our wiki is of clear structure, containing not only all the modules that the medal criteria requires, but also many unique designs of our team. We present our project with various methods, the pictures and illustrations are special and creative in our own style, and the animation is utilized to make it even more interesting. Our wiki certainly stands out among the many competitors.
Education
Our team has designed and held series of lectures and activities related to Synthetic Biology and gene engineering for high school and primary school students.
The feedbacks from the participants were really encouraging, many of them said that they had learned a lot, and their interest in Synthetic Biology had risen greatly.
We also made some videos introducing knowledge in Synthetic Biology and experiment protocols and posted them in our channels on social media, the overall views have reached more than 10,000.
Integrated Human practices
We interviewed several professors as well as professional bakers, who provided us with numerous information on fermentation and bread making, helped us set our goal and target client and improve the design of our circuit.
Through communicating with many home-bakers, conducting surveys, holding activities and promoting our project to public, we got encouraged, stiffened our goal and realized public’s attitude toward gene-edited yeast.
By attending meet ups and bio fairs, we got the chance to see what other teams were doing and learned from them.
