Acknowledgement
In finishing this project, our team has benefited from many professors. They generously guided us through project design and offered us professional platforms. We hereby our grateful thanks to them for their kind help, without which this project would not have been what it is.
Thanks to Professor Xie Huiqi in the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, she is an expert in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, and is the general tutor of our project. From the beginning of the project, she guided us through the selection of drug targets. At the same time, a complete experimental platform and instructor resources are provided during the progress of the project
Thanks to Professor Yang Hao who is a student of Professor Lu Xiaofeng, he guided the whole process of expression and purification of our recombinant protein, which greatly improved the efficiency of our experiments.
Thanks to Professor Lu Xiaofeng in the Key Laboratory of Transplantation Engineering and Transplantation Immunity who has precious experience in treating renal fibrosis using recombinant protein drug and gave advice on the design of in vitro validation assays. Also, he provided us with a great platform of protein purification.
Thanks to Professor Fan Hong in West China Hospital, who is an expert in severe lung infection and precision treatment as well as lung injury and fibrosis repair intervention mechanism. She took time out of her busy schedule to listen to our project and provided valuable suggestions and guidance.
Thanks to Dr. Tong Xiang from West China Hospital. He is a student of Professor Fan Hong and an experienced doctor of pulmonary fibrosis. He explained the background of the disease and the current status of treatment in detail from the perspective of a doctor.
Thanks to Professor Wan Huajing in West China Hospital, she is experienced in the construction of lung organoids. She provided us with new ideas for drug evaluation and proposed laboratory cooperation to construct lung organoids based on PU-SIS material.
Thanks to Professor Ouyang Liang in the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, he analyzed the pros and cons of common disease backgrounds of fibrosis, which inspired us a lot and prompted us to finally choose IPF as the disease background of drug design.
Thanks to Professor Ding Bisen in the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, he put forward valuable suggestions for our drug design, that is, fusing probes in protein drug to improve drug targeting.
Thanks to Professor Chen Chong and Professor Wang Yuan in the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy, they listened carefully to our project design and put forward valuable suggestions at the SKLB Academic Symposium.
