Criteria
We have achieved these goals as follows:
Brounze
1. Registration and Giant Jamboree attendance.
a. All members of the team have registered as an undergraduate team in iGEM 2020.
2. Competition deliverables.
a. According to the Deliverables page on iGEM’s website:
i. We have created a wiki page, which includes an Attributions page.
ii. A wiki page is also dedicated to the Safety part of our project.
iii. We have designed a poster for display at the Giant Jamboree.
iv. We have prepared for the team presentation during the Jamboree.
v. We have submitted the Judging form and safety forms before the deadline.
3. Attributions
Attributions finished!(click Attribution to see more)
4. Project Inspiration and Descriptions
a. Our project aims to develop a screening platform to pick up best protein drugs combinations for pulmonary fibrosis. To learn more, do look at our project inspiration and Descriptions which are listed on the Descriptions page.
5. Characterization/ Contribution
a. To select the appropriate pharmaceutical composition, we devised a method to express functional parts in vitro by usingour fusion protein part. For more info, please refer to our Parts page which we have completed before the deadline.
b. We upload 7 basic parts and 4 composite parts to the Part's Registry, and expressed them both in vitro and in vivo (in E.Coli BL21 DE3 strain and M15 strain).
c. We provide a model of drug metabolism in animals and humans using database fitting, which will help other iGEMers to evaluate their drugs metalbolism better.
Silver
1. Validated Part/ Validated Contribution
a. We have proven that the functions of each constructed parts work as expected.
2. Collaboration
a. This year, SCU-WestChina and SCU-China decided to establish teams separately and keep cooperating in enrollment, project design, experiments, and human practice.
b. We also made cooperation with SZU-China and CPU-China. Thanksfully, we share our projects and saved helpful suggestions with each other during the meetings.

3. Human Practices
a. Human practices play a big role in how we spread our ideas beyond the laboratory. We finish our human practice in both COVID-19 devotion and our project promotion.
4. Proposed Implementation
We provide an integrated screening platform for protein protein drugs of pulmonary fibrosis and verificate every step with experinments and modeling, welcome to our Design.
Gold
1. Integrated Human Practice
a. We use the development of the project as the main line of HP: online interviews with project stakeholders have strengthened our original intention; exchanges with doctors and professors, and in-depth dialogue with patients with pneumoconiosis and silicosis to clarify the current shortcomings and improvement directionsof the project.
2. Project Modeling
a. To select appropriate pharmaceutical compositions, we use ITAASER、Z-DOCK and pymol to simulate every protein design then select best ones for expression experiments .
b. We use Gastroplus to simulate the PK curve of our drugs in both animal and human and prove the advantages of our drug-delivery way.
c. We use pymol to select appropriate probes so that our liposomes can deliver our drugs to the fibrosis focus more accurately.
3. Proof of Concept
a. As a supplement to our therapeutic project and help raise awareness of fibrosis drugs selection, our team has built a platform that can select best drugs from expression to verification in viro and in vivo.
4. Partnership
a. This year, SCU-WestChina and SCU-China decided to establish teams separately and keep cooperating in enrollment, project design, experiments, and human practice.
5. Science Communication
we use the development of the project as the main line of HP: online interviews with project stakeholders have strengthened our original intention; exchanges with doctors and professors, and in-depth dialogue with patients with pneumoconiosis and silicosis to clarify the current shortcomings and improvement directionsof the project. At the same time, we are also actively exploring the interaction between the project and the society, creating more possibilities through open classes, in-depth research, and corporate cooperation.
6. Excellence in Another Area
We pay close attention to COVID-19 and its impact. From the three aspects of the origin, progress, and prognosis of COVID-19, the publicity of wildlife protection promotion in cooperation with the public welfare organization SK SUNNY, public science popularization, and exploration of the possible role of projects in the prognosis were carried out.
