Four New Parts

Our team has made several contributions to the iGEM community. First, we designed and created three basic parts and one composite part. Two of our parts include a new general use tool for the iGEM community, a construct for the enzyme flappase, which can be used to detect and cleave at a single nucleotide target in context. The details for these parts can be found on our Parts page.

A Guide for Making Animated Videos

We decided to use web-based animation software to produce our 2-minute project promotion video. We noticed that previous iGEM team videos did not feature animation, so we wrote an instructional guide based on our experiences to help teams that are interested in making an animated video.
