Zhichen Guo/Leader

He was a “tool man” for doing experiments last year and the students leader this year. It may be very difficult for him to lead a team without any experience, but fortunately, he met a group of friends who also loved synthetic biology. For better for worse, this is a rewarding journey for him.

Chutian Chen/Model

As a student majoring in Physics, Chen Chutian has a great interest in analyzing objects by modeling and simulating. Therefore, he joined iGEM, seeking the chance to have a better understanding of the most amazing system in the world -- the living system. Surely his work is far less awesome comparing to the great work of the Being, but these combinations of small inspirations still bring the sketches of the beauty that emerged from million million million millions of molecules.

Yu Song/Hardware

Song is in charge of hardware and humor in the team. He is very casual guy who is curious about anything new and wants to try them. He likes to design and process without drawing though that is a bad habit. Already been very crazy about this hardware, he still wants to make a contribution to the field of biology by designing useful machines.

A biology major student who loves literature and sports. However, he loves experiments the most. He admires all kinds of living creatures for their astonishingly exquisite design.

Interested in biological phenomena and machine, he takes part in the hardware part of the project. Hobbies are music and calligraphy.

Qiuchu Yu/Experiment

Majoring in computer science,he is interested in how computer science can be combined with biology.He takes part in the experiment and part of human practice.iGEM not only gives him a experience of researching and the commercialization of research findings,but also makes him realize his shortcomings in many aspects.He will appreciate this experience and every teammate he mets in the future.

Dreamed about changing the world for the better with computer science and biology. Always frustrated by reality, but never stop advancing. Indulge in making himself busy around something and exhausted, while most people cannot understand how he can get happy with that.
