Wet lab

Qiyu Liang, leader of the team. Responsible for part measurement.

Weihao Wang, put forward the idea of displaying scFv on the surface of the magnetosome and was responsible for culturing of MSR-1.

MingxiaoWei, constructured new parts and carried out the experiments of parts improvement.

Xiner Ying, was responsible for constructing expression plasmid of scFv-Fc and extraction and purification of scFv-Fc fusion protein.

Shirui Xu, assisted in the wet-lab experiments, especially the co-IP of verification of interaction of mamC-ZZ and scFv.

Jiayi Chen, participated in the protein purification experiment and protein interaction experiment.

Yihong Cai, responsible for expression and purification of GST mamC-ZZ and the immunoprecipitation experiments that prove the interaction between ZZ and Fc. Also worked on cultured breast cancer cells.

Yanqing Li, resposible for flow cytometry and participate in cell culture and immunofluorescence.

Yurun Jin, participated in parts improvements and a series of experiments to prove ZZ conbined with scFv.

Prof. Ming Chen, the PI of our team, organized members to brainstorm and played a soul role in the final session. As one of our indefatigable spiritual sources, he provided general advice on the experiments when we face setbacks.

Associate Prof. Fan Yang, the PI of our team, provided the experimental place, guided the expermential skills and ensured laboratory safety for the wet lab and was responsible for the basic supplies of the laboratory.

Associate Prof. Wentao Jin provided plasmids containing EGFP sequence. In addition, he gave several biochemistry experimential materials to us generously.

Prof. Peifen Fu gave us advice on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer which has an important impact on the positioning of our program.

Prof. Feng Chen gave us information about MRI diagnosis.

Prof. Zhenmei Lv provided suggesstion about culturing magnetotactic bacteria.

Muhammad Zeeshan Qureshi and Banghong Wei from Reproductive Biology lab School of life sciences, gave us a lot of guidance and advice on cell experiments.

Shengsheng Mei in Prof. Jinbiao Zhan’s lab provided us with the cell line MDA-MB-453 and BT-474 and gave us some guidance on cell culture.

Ruihua Li in Prof. Aifu Lin’s lab provided us with the cell line MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468.

Zhaoyuan Hui and Chen Wang in Prof. Ying Gu’s lab provided us with some consumables for flow cytometry and some advice on flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.

Modeling

Yutong Liu, leader of dry lab, was responsible for the modeling of product generation and interaction processes in vitro and in vivo by ordinary differential equations.

Yujie He, biuld a kinetic model to simulate the diffusion of the magenetosome in target tumor, trying to describe the process mechanically.

Wiki

Hui Zhou designed all the pages and graphics for the wiki.

Jiajie Su was responsible for the website frame construction.

Qiyu Liang participated in the website making.

All our team members wrote the contents of the wiki pages and participated in troubleshooting.

Human Practice

Shirui Xu was responsible for the overall design and development of human practices and integrated human practices, the preparation and development of meet up, the design and development of educational and public engagement activities.

All members including wet lab and dry lab participated in the activities of human practice.
