Collaboration:
We worked with the team “rePhos” to provide them with a way to verify their result. At the same time, we are able to know whether or not our biosensor can detect phosphate. The “rePhos”’s project’s goal is to successful transfer total phosphorus to phosphate that can be nutrient for plants. However, at the same time, they need to prevent phosphate from leaving the plants which can lead to pollution in the water. So when they want to know whether or not their project can stop leakage of phosphate, they will need our biosensor as detection. We have received their diluted experiment samples and used them as samples for us to detect phosphate concentration. The result matched with their initial expectations of 172 μL. In addition, this final result needed to be diluted 50 times in order to be in the range of our E-coli detection.
