Events and Meetups

On this page you will find: Submitting an Event , Events Calendar, and Events list.

Events are happening around the world! This page is a summary of upcoming events for iGEM 2020 teams, including team meetups, training webinars, and Ambassador activities. The list of competition deadlines can be found on the Competition Calendar.

At team meetups, teams share ideas, help each other, and spend time with their fellow iGEMers. Due to the current global situation, we do not recommend teams host in-person meetups in the coming months. Instead, consider switching to an online virtual meetup!

Chit chat on Monday 8th of June - Let’s talk about our Microbiome!
June

Hello iGEMers!!

Our team is working on the skin microbiome! We would like to know if the isolation during the COVID-19 lockdown influences our skin microbiome. To answer this question we would like to get samples from many people all around the world. To achieve this we thought that maybe you, other iGEMers, would collaborate on this by sharing your microbiome with us.

We would like to organise a discussion around (virtual) coffee to meet you! We will also discuss with you about our project and present you more in detail what kind of collaboration we’d like to propose.

If you’re curious about our project, join us with a cup of coffee!

Can’t wait to meet you!
